Vietnam trip

First day, after we arrive at vietnam we went straight to the cathedral. I bought stamps there
which are quite expnsive. After that, we went straight to the cu chi tunnel. we were given a talk before we get to walk yhrough the tunnel. The tunnel is hot and stuffy we could not wait to get out. From this activity , i learn that the vietnamese need to have alot of determination to be able to survive in small and stuffy areas for days and weeks.
Second day, we pack our stuff and set off to Dalat. We were supposed to visit the coffee and tea plantation however due to heavy rain we could only take a look at the factory. Third day, in the morning we went to the Bui Thi Xuan secondary school. The facilites in the school was much better than i had expected. They studied subjects which were rather similiar to ours. The students there were also very friendly. After that we went to the strawberry farm to pluck strawberries. We also went to the tribal village in Dalat. We are supposed to build barriers for the villages . The villagers were very friendly and even sang songs for us!

Fourth day, we wen to visit a french villa, the villa have alot of structures which include french culture. This trip had help me in understandin the era when french colonise vietnam. After that we went back to saigon.
Fifth day, i did not go to the mekong river which i felt that it was a pity. We went to the museum and water puppet show. I was fascinated by the water puppet show which show the lives of villages in vietnam.

Last day, we went to the orphanage there. Most of the orphans were abandoned by their parents in the hospital. Most of the orphans also have deformities and illness. When we arrived we went to play with the kids and the kids were very exited to see us. We also twisted balloons for the kids. i think this is the highlight of the trip , being able to help the kids made me feel happy too!
